Residential Support Worker (Full-Time / Part-Time)

  • Responsible To: Team Leaders, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager, and Responsible Individual

  • Internal Liaison: HR and Senior Management Team

  • External Liaison: Ofsted, Local Authorities, Police, Health & Education Professionals, Social Services

Role Summary:
As a Residential Support Worker, your primary responsibility is to provide consistent advice, practical assistance, and emotional support to the young people in your care. You will attend to their daily needs while acting as a positive, reliable role model at all times. By building strong, nurturing relationships and taking a holistic, child-centred approach, you will support each young person in overcoming personal challenges, building emotional resilience, and achieving their full potential.

Team Leader – Children’s Residential Home (Full-Time / Part-Time)

  • Responsible To: Registered Manager / Deputy Manager

  • Internal Liaison: HR and Senior Management Team

  • External Liaison: Ofsted, Local Authorities, Police, Health & Education Professionals, Social Services

Role Summary:

The Team Leader plays a pivotal role in supporting the Registered Manager and Deputy Manager with the smooth, day-to-day operation of the residential home. In this position, you will lead by example—motivating, guiding, and supervising a team of Residential Support Workers. Your focus will be on delivering safe, high-quality, and nurturing care that fully aligns with the ethos of Ellie’s Place and complies with Ofsted’s Quality Standards.

Waking Night Support Worker – Children’s Residential Home (Full-Time / Part-Time)

  • Responsible To: Team Leader, Deputy Manager, Registered Manager

  • Internal Liaison: HR and Senior Management Team

  • External Liaison: Ofsted, Local Authorities, Police, Health & Education Professionals, Social Services

Role Summary:

As a Waking Night Support Worker, you are essential to providing continuous, 24-hour care by ensuring the safety, welfare, and peace of mind of our children and young people throughout the night. You will maintain a calm, secure, and supportive environment that reflects our core values. Key responsibilities include vigilant safeguarding, overnight supervision, detailed record-keeping, and assisting with morning routines to ensure smooth handovers.
